Modern diets are often characterised by a deficiency of omega 3, an essential nutrient which cannot be produced by the body but must be consumed via diet or supplementation. The richest and most well-known form of omega 3 is from oily fish, making it difficult for vegans and vegetarians to consume adequate levels of this important fatty acid. Vegan EPA & DHA provides the omega 3 fatty acids Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) & Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) from sustainably grown marine algae. Our Vegan EPA & DHA is formulated with South American grown chia seed oil to supply the full spectrum of omega 3, 6 and 9, along with natural orange oil for a great-tasting dietary supplement. We recommend taking alongside our Essential Vegan Multivitamin for optimum support.
This product offers a fish-free vegan and vegetarian omega 3 oil alternative providing 225mg EPA & DHA per ml. A daily intake of 2ml per day contributes to the normal function of the heart, eyes and brain.
